BVG India Limited was first established as a Non-Profit organization, named as Bharat Vikas Pratisthan in 1993. Then in 1997, BVG group was made as a housekeeping company. Later on, Bharat Vikas Utility Services Limited was created in 2002. And in July 2004, the name of the company was changed to BVG India Limited. Today, BVG India Limited is the largest integrated services company with 75000+ employees, serving 800+ sites for more than 750 customers in 70 cities across 20 states in India.
BVG India Limited is engaged in business of providing and undertaking mechanised housekeeping,facility management, emergency medical services (ambulance), emergency police services (Dial 100), transportation,solid waste management, attendant services, labour supplyand plant relocations. Apart from this, the company also undertakes various projects for rural electrification, garden development, landscaping, beautification projects,and other contracts for Government and private organisations.
BVG group is the largest integrated services provider in India. It is also the asia’s largest police support service and India’s largest emergency ambulance service. The customer base of the company includes many of the prominent names of India such as Bajaj, Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, ONGC, Fiat, Indian railways, ITC, etc.
BVG India is now planning to raise around 1,100 Crores through its Initial Public Offering (IPO). The company is likely to file its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with market regulator SEBI this year. Read more at :

Facility Management services refers to the use of third-party service providers to maintain a part or entire building facility in a professional manner. The Facility management industry in India is dominated by in-house segment; However, these services are increasingly being outsourced. As the industries being shifting from unorganized to organized sector, the integrated sector will also increase. Moreover, The increasing need to reduce operating cost of facilities and buildings and increasing demand for energy conservation and optimum usage of building solutions is driving the growth of the facility management market in India. The Facility management market in India is projected to grow at a CAGR of 18-24% from FY 2020 to FY 2025.
The outbreak of COVID 19 pandemic has had an impact on almost all entities either directly or indirectly. But COVID-19 has not had a significant impact on the operations and functioning of facility management organizations. There are various segments in which BVG India Limited operates (viz. running and maintenance of ambulances and police vehicles, solid waste management, cleaning and maintenance of essential premises such as Government buildings, hospitals etc.) where there has been no stoppage of work and in fact, the level of operations have increased.
As most of the employees in BVG India Limited or any other facility management service company are low wage earners. The Clients of BVG India Limited has been forthcoming in releasing the company’s payments so as to avoid hardships to such employees.However, prolonged extension of COVID-19 and related lockdowns may adversely impact the businesses of various sectors. This may, in turn impact the liquidity of BVG India Limited.

PERFORMANCE OF THE COMPANY
Revenue from Operations increased by 5.82% from Rs. 1,817.59 Crores in FY 2019 to Rs. 1,923.48 Crores in FY 2020.
EBITDA of the company increased by 43.64% in FY 2020 and reached Rs. 242.38 Crores from Rs. 168.73 Crores in FY 2019. EBITDA margins of the company improved from 9.28% in FY 2019 to 12.60% in FY 2020. This clearly states that the efficiency of the company has improved.
Profit after Tax from continuing operations increased significantly by 77.8% from Rs. 66.19 Crores in FY 2019 to Rs. 117.73 Crores in FY 2020.
BVG India Limited won some prestigious contracts during FY 2020, including lake rejuvenation contracts under the Dahod and Sholapur smart city development programs initiated by the Government of India.
In FY 2020, the company started providing emergency ambulances in the union territories of Jammu, Kashmir and Leh.
Current ratio of the company as on 31st March 2020 was 1.40. This states that the company is managing their liquidity effectively. Debt to Equity ratio of the company as on 31st March 2020 was 0.83.
Book value of the company as on 31st March 2020 was Rs. 269.84 per equity share.
BVG India Limited has not given any dividend from the past three years that is from FY 2018 to FY 2020.
